Welcome to Layford Contract packers, a family owned and run business specialising in contract packing for the food industry, and in particular for confectionery products such as chocolates, sweets and cakes. We have been established for over 21 years and since then have continually improved operations, offering a consistently dependable and value driven service to all our clients, regardless of their size.

Our flow wrapping and bagging facilities are some of the best in the country. Over the last couple of years we have invested in some of the most up to date equipment on the market, including Bosch/Sandiacre, Ishida/Yamato and Rose Forgrove. We currently run 13 Flow wrappers, 4 quad baggers, one 4-way-split weighing machine that can also bag pillow-packs, and also two hand packing lines, all manned by experienced staff.

As a specialist within the food sector we are very aware of quality within the working environment; we work to BRC Grade A level, ISO 9001/2000 standards and have also achieved several blue chip manufacturing site approvals. We can also isolate working areas to protect against any cross-contamination, and an extensive monitoring system. Read more about our working standards on the Quality Systems page.
